A short and sweet post just like these little cuties! I’ve had my eye on a few recipes for homemade marshmallows for a while now and wanted one that didn’t involve egg whites. (I never get round to finding a use for my leftover yolks).
These were surprisingly easy to make and I can’t emphasise how much better they are than shop bought marshmallows! Super soft, fluffy and with a wonderfully subtle vanilla flavour, they are just perfect. Like nibbling on a cloud.
At this time of year, marshmallows are made for one thing. Dunking into a huge mug of hot cocoa. Which is exactly what i did this evening. Twice.
